    Almost just what I needed.

Bought this for use on my Gretsch floor tom legs. It was almost perfect except... The threads on the hinge are on the worng side. When the tab is engaged in the slot on the floor tom leg clamp, the keyed end of the screw faces into the shell of the drum, so there is no way you can tighten it in place. I worked around the problem by placing the lock where I wanted, finger tightened it, then removed the leg so I could tighten the rest with the key and replace. Not ideal really. If you never need to adjust, you are fine like this. Alternatively you can get one of those wrench style drum keys. I had seen Gibraltar hardware in a Gretsch catalog, but this piece is not so friendly with Gretsch floor tom legs.
