Tough, dependable, and very sturdy
If you want a clamp that will clamp to almost any stand and will hold a 1/2" boom arm or L-arm for a drum, cymbal, or auxiliary percussion, then this is the clamp you want. Chances are you'll never have to replace it. Maybe have to replace the wingnut or bolt, but that would be many years from now. As an example, I bought a 2 legged DW 9000 series hi hat stand in 2005 ($220 back then) and I have only had to replace the middle chain on the pedal/double eccentric cam. That was replaced sometime March 2018. 13 years and this thing never let up.
