Very useful tool, particularly for a beginner like me. I saw some videos on YouTube which helped and even the Drum Dial people reply on their YT channel with recommendations based on one’s drum set. Had I seen the many videos before purchasing probably would’ve gone with the analog version since you can see the instant response as you turn the key, but then I guess that assumes you’ll always use it in well lit conditions.

Digital LCD display measures the pressure of your drumheads on a scale of 0-100. You can then easily get your drums heads at the same tension and fine tune from there. The digital readout makes it easy to see where adjustments are needed. Includes and drum key holder on the back side and calibration.
DrumDial quickly and precisely tunes all drums by accurately measuring drumhead tension NOT tension rod torque. Tension rod torque can be used to tell you when you are over tightening a bolt to prevent thread damage, but is not accurate for drum tuning because of the difference in screw tolerances, plating, corrosion, and thread wear.
