A very solid bass drum lifter. More than does the job. If you are inexperienced at drilling and mounting hardware then you may need assistance. Wasn't a problem for me. It does take a little time at set up to get it adjusted right. One reason is that the product is versatile so you have many choices. I think I will get quicker at it with time.
