Description

Rolled from heavy-gauge brass alloy, this is a heavier shell than most beaded-style brass snares. The sound is distinctively brass, but with more body and fatness at low mid range frequencies and a beautiful high end crack. This snare has a brass brushed shell with Chrome Sub Diecast Hoops.

I don't want to sound corny but I've had over 30 kits and countless snares over the years and this is one of THE BEST snares I've ever played. The ease of tuning, sonic palette, and cut in the mix are extraordinary. Yes it can be loud but it's also very accommodating to more sensitive playing as well. This is a very dynamic instrument and if one gets all wrapped up in the cast vs rolled shell debate, they're making a big mistake. These are the real deal and probably the only brass snare you'd ever need.
