From its cast hoops of indestructible aluminum bronze to its seamless shell of expressive bell bronze, the DW True Cast snare drum delivers the utmost in musicality, dynamic range, and power. The cast shell boasts a 3mm–5mm internally concave design with enlarged top and bottom to mimic the focus and support of reinforcement rings. The result is a one-of-a-kind response that must be experienced to be believed; ghost notes come across with impressive note separation, while rimshots cut through a mix like a shotgun blast. A machined brass snare throw off and butt plate provide great sensitivity and quiet performance, while raw tension rods, shell screws, and badges left to patina will reward collectors and players with an heirloom look over time. The DW True Cast Bell Bronze snare drum comes crowned with DW 45° bearing edges for an optimized head-shell response and DW-branded Remo heads for great tone from day one.
