These exquisite German drums combine ferocious tone with designer good looks inspired by mid-20th-century classic cars. SQ1 shells are built from select plies of European birch for great tonal balance and a crisp, modern attack. The shells are slightly undersized to let the heads float freely on the bearing edges, resulting in enhanced tuning range and resonance. Hardware innovations include Sonor's renowned TuneSafe lugs, which keep tuning stable between takes, and the truly unique Sonor Sound Sustainer dual-component tom mounts. This SQ1 mounted tom also features fast-attack Remo Ambassador coated/clear drumheads for exceptional punch.
