    Hey , That was the best deal for me in this year, no one can bet the price Erik Paulson brings to the table. About my new Yamaha Hybrid Maple does no look comes from China ,looks like a real pro US or Japan product, the bearing edges perfects. this is a really high quality product as Yamaha always do. Erik always respond all my messages and send the 6 piece drum free chipping to my house in Virginia fast. It was a great experience,highly recommended!

Absolute Hybrid Shells

Much of the Flagship Yamaha Phoenix Technology is now being used in the new Absolute Hybrid series.

The shells are constructed with a single ply of the Wenge wood Pronounced (When-GAY) with Maple plys on the inside and outside of the drum.

Wenga is a hard dense african wood that was previously only available in the Yamaha Flagship Pheonix sereis drums.

Now this Technology is available in the Yamaha Absolute Hybrid kit.

The New Absolute Hybrid utilizes the same Yamaha Phoenix PHX Hook Lugs that the Pheonix series offers.

 

Snare drum - 6.2mm 7-Ply (3-Maple/1-Wenga/3-Maple) 3.0mm Aluminum Die-Cast Hoops 45 Degree Bearing Edge

Bass Drum - 8mm 9-Ply (4-Maple/1-Wenga/4-Maple) 30 Degree Bearing Edge

Toms/Floor Toms - 6.2mm 7-Ply (3-Maple/1-Wenga/3-Maple) 3.0mm Aluminum Die-Cast Hoops 45 Degree Bearing Edge
