we're always trying to utilize the small space that most clubs allow for an entire bans to the utmost. the Yamaha TH-945B Double Tom Holder basically does the same thing allowing for 2 toms +. that plus can be realized as a 3rd tom or location for a cymbal boom. i.ve used it both ways and it's nice having those options. as far as i know, no other drum manufacturer's hardware can accomplish this on one bass drum or one cmbal stand. it's really great.
